Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Gel

If there is one thing on my face that I have neglected for the longest time, is my brows. I got them threaded 3 years ago and it was a disaster. I've been too scared to have anyone touch them again so I just go in and try to even them out with Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Pencil in soft brown. 

I was using Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara to hold down my brows but my hairs still kept moving. It was so annoying!!! So, I tried the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Gel

and this thing is amazing!

Clarisonic Mia 2 Review

People said the Clarisonic was a game changer and they were absolutely right. This little machine is amazing! After tons of research and listening to people's advice I went with the Mia 2.

The difference between the Mia and the Mia 2 is the speed settings. The Mia has one, the Mia 2 has, well, two. I was so excited to try it when I got home but it didn't work haha so we had to ship it back, wait 2 more weeks for another one then it needed to charge for 24 hours. So, I waited another whole day. 

I heard the best thing to use with the Mia is Purity by Philosophy. I immediately fell in love with this face wash. I felt like my makeup was being cleaned off, but it wasn't stripping my skin to much and it smells so good! 

The first time I used it, I was impressed. It wasn't a harsh brushing motion, but I felt like it was firm enough to really clean my skin. The first noticeable result was the smoothness of my face. I mean, it's incredible. The second noticeable result was the way my makeup applied. My liquid foundation went on smoother, and my makeup seemed fresher. I only use it at night some people do both day and night but I feel like it's too much for my skin in particular.

 I'm really happy with my skin. I recommend everyone go out and get one. I know they can be expensive but it's an investment worth having!

Bamboo Revitalizing Eye Masks

I bought these eye masks at Marshalls for  $3.99.

Lately, I've had bags, dark circles and these fine lines under my eyes so when I saw these I was super excited to try them out. You get 4 pairs in a box it said to reduce wrinkles & smooth fine lines, improve dark circles, instantly soothe & hydrate tired eyes. When I first opened the pouch it was really really gooey and messy I'm assuming it was the Aloe Vera. You put the strips under your eyes but be careful not to get it in your eye because it does sting. 

I first tried it at night when I put the strips under my eyes they kept moving I thought once you put them where you wanted them they would stay in place but they didn't. It was very cooling and really didn't have a smell. It says to leave them on for 15-20 mins and use 2-3 times per week. I can say after using them for 2 weeks I did notice an improvement with my dark circles. I still had fine lines but they weren't as deep. My concealer didn't crease into my lines like it normally does. For $3.99 I would definitely go back for more. 

BOOST IT: HIGH LIFT CREATION SPRAY

Hey everyone! I know I haven't blogged in awhile just been trying some new products and I wanted to try them out a few times before I give them two thumbs up or two thumbs down. 

This new boost it spray by L'OREAL is magic in a can. My hair is super straight and hard to tease. I just spray this where I need some volume and bam you got the tease without actually teasing. 

I was trying to get a picture of my hair but  this doesn't do it no justice sigh.... The spray works it instantly gives you lift and fullness; two thumbs up in my book.

L'OREAL Power Moisture

I've been using this mask for about a week now so far two thumbs up. It leaves my hair super soft and smells great. It said to instantly infuse moisture into every strand, locks in intense hydration without weight-down, transforms dehydrated hair into silky, soft, and manageable. I have to agree it does it all. The #1 thing I love is that it doesn't weigh down my hair after blow drying. 

Wish it would have came with a pump I feel like a lot of product is wasted and sometimes I wish it wasn't round. They should have put it in a tall bottle, it takes up a lot of room in the shower or at least in mine. The cost ($5.97) at Walmart is a good price for how much product you get. 

Revlon Pink Pout

Revlon Pink Pout is such a beautiful matte lipstick it's one of those everyday colors. Here's what they say online  "Revlon Matte Lipstick gives suede-like application and maximum colour with on trend shades, that glide effortlessly across lips depositing rich, beautiful, matte colour.” Pink Pout goes on pretty smooth and doesn’t emphasize the dry parts of the lips as much as some lipsticks may do. Also, this products is not heavy at all and you don’t feel that you are actually wearing a matte lipstick.  

You may need some lip balm before applying so it doesn't look as dry and if you want the shine put one some lipgloss! I love it! Go revlon! 

MAC Lipglass: Myth

I'm not really a lipgloss person but I thought I'd venture out and bought the Lipglass in Myth from MAC. It's a milky peach beige with silver sparkle. It’s mostly opaque but does settle into lip lines. The consistency is thick–real thick. 

It's such a beautiful color! I have the lipstick and I love it for an everyday look. I don't like how thick and sticky the Lipglass is. I kissed my husband and he was freaked out how sticky my lips were.  I wouldn't repurchase another Lipglass. 

Gold Bond Ultimate: Skin Therapy Cream

Hey guys! This is probably a random post but my hands have been super dry lately. My skin is cracking, they feel rough they just look ugly. I'm not sure what's causing the dryness I think it might be the dish washing soap or maybe even the baby wipes. Anywho, I bought Gold Bond Ultimate skin therapy cream. It's supposed to heal dry problem skin, has vitamins A, C & E, penetrates fast, non-greasy, fresh clean scent and  hydra-last for 24 hour moisturization. 

The lotion has really helped with my dryness. I use a small amount after washing the dishes, getting out of the shower pretty much anytime throughout the day. It does have a scent so if your the kind of person who can't do scents avoid this product.

Maybelline Cover Stick Concealer

I used this little guy for a week straight and I love it!!! I have really bad dark circles they've always been bad but after after a baby you can really see them now.

This bad boy has excellent full coverage and brightens under the eyes. 

It was easy to put on. I used my ring finger to try and blend it in but the formula is thick (consider before purchasing). I used my beauty blender to blend everything in and it looked perfect. They have so many shades to choose from I got mine in light. I did notice it made me look more oily especially on the forehead and it creased on me :( Honestly, I haven't found a concealer that hasn't creased.

I bought this for $4.96 at Walmart and it's something I would repurchase because of how great the coverage is. 

PONDS Cold Cream Cleanser

I've been using this stuff forever now and I absolutely love it. I use it to take off my eye makeup. At night I'll use Neutrogena makeup remover washcloths for my entire face and then I'll put some of this stuff all over my eyes to remove the rest of the mascara. 

In the morning when I get out of the shower I'll put some more on my eyes just to make sure I've removed ALL makeup. It's super easy to wipe off and leaves your eyes moisturized. Totally recommend and it's like $4 at Walmart. 

Small & Coral

I bought this coral purse at Forever 21 yesterday for $16.80. I like that it's small especially for spring/summer. If your at the park or the beach it's light, secure and cute.

Yes, it's small but you still have different ways to wear it. You can do the one shoulder (messenger style), casual crossbody or even as a clutch.

The inside has a zipper and a pocket.

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope everyone has a spectacular day/night with thier loved ones  If your going out with your significant other or you're making it a girls/guys night make sure you live in the moment and enjoy it. 

David and I had breakfast this morning and tonight we are going to dinner and probably have some drinks afterwards. He got me the clarisonic Mia 2 but it's broken :( so I have to mail it back and wait for another one. I got him a gift card to Home Depot he's into building things right now it was perfect.

I've been loving this products. I normally don't put anything in my hair just let it air dry before drying it with the blow dryer. I always see them at the store and coupons for them in the paper thought I try them out. 

I start off with the beach trippin' I spray it in my hair when it's still wet. There's nothing wavy about my hair I'm sure if you had some kind of wave to your hair this would probably be wonderful. I do notice that it helps my hair dry faster that's why I use it haha 

I then put a small amount of this shine serum and work it into my wet hair. I don't really notice it shine but it does make my hair super soft and look healthier. 

I use this if I'm going to straighten or curl my hair. It's just a heat protector. You need to protector your hair with something the heat from the strainer and curling wand can do some damage after time.

MAYBELLINE FIT me blush

I've really been into trying Maybelline blushes these past couple weeks. I've been liking this new Fit me line and this blush does not disappoint. 

When you swatch it on your hand you can't see a thing. This color is light nude but when you put it on its so pretty! It gives your cheeks a perfect amount of peach color! Mix it with your bronzer and you get that golden goddess look. 

DREAM Bouncy blush

Maybelline had a $3 coupon in the paper this week. I only picked up one of these blushes and lets just say it does it's job. It's super pigmented at first but through out the day it does fade. I love that it's easy to blend and you can build it to look more intense. The texture is a cream/moose feel which is different. I would only repurchase this if I get another coupon I wouldn't go out and pay full price.

DIY Projects

These past couple of days I've been looking for decoration ideas for my future sister in laws bridal shower. I found two that I was really excited to try. The colors can be changed to match the bridal shower theme these are just examples so she can see what they would look like.

I'm going to spray paint the mason jar a pastel color so go with the theme of the shower. I love the bright flowers :) 

The vase is upside down so you can see the confetti at the bottom. I'm going to add white sand to help let the colors pop. 

This is another vase but I didn't like how it came out. My husband said it looks like a vase for a cinco de mayo party.

The cost for the eyeliner alone is $19 a little pricy I know. It's not one of those products that you MUST have, the maybelline eye studio works just as well.
